Guy was a pleasure to work for, a very entrepreneurial person, he was forever thinking outside the box and coming up with creative marketing solutions to build and develop Mitchell and Cooper and Bonzer. A great guy, Manager and Colleague, highly recommended.

As the Managing Director of Mitchell & Cooper I have successfully created a positive culture where all staff members feel empowered to share and make suggestions through our continuous improvement strategy that covers each department. Through an approachable management style and a company-wide desire to perform the company continues to grow through successful account management, relationship building and an approach to operations that puts the customer at the center of each decision.

In this role I took the business from a typically old fashioned B2B company to a forward-thinking customer focused company by concentrating on the company image and communication channels. Introducing B2B e-commerce, email and social strategies allowed the company to segment and target customers and prospects more effectively in a changing market. This approach also gave customers greater power over the purchasing process at their convenience. The Bonzer brand which the company is best known for needed reinvigorating to give it further clarity and positioning in the market, this was successfully achieved by giving definition to the existing products as well as setting the path for future developments. Taking an analytical approach to the product offer I ensured the business concentrated on profitable manufactured items and sourced new complementary items to promote alongside our existing existing offer, building strong relationships with those suppliers which built mutual value. Aligned the business with Marketing Agencies that represent the largest spirits brands in the market creating an additional revenue stream to add value by branding our Bar products which form part of their marketing mix.
