Working as a structural engineer to deliver to projects ranging from small houses to multi-million pound medium rise residential, communal & commercial buildings.- Five storey concrete and timber communal home for a local charity. Significant challenges involved in fulfilling progressive collapse and fire requirements in multi-storey timber walkways. High-spec project requiring precise detailing to accommodate architectural vision.- Seven storey modular building primarily constructed of shipping container-like units. Large steel and concrete raked prows at either end of the building and a large basement formed a significant part of the project scope. Demanding project with fast paced client changes.- Renovation works for prominent client at their technology & research centre. Considerable work involved in understanding the current building from archived plans & photos. A number of different structural forms were used on the site as it was extended and conglomerated, which were taken into account to provide a logical scheme of works for required changes.
