  The ELIXIR-Luxembourg Node provides long-term sustainability of translational research data through hosting and tools provision. Translational research brings together clinical and molecular data for a better understanding of diseases. Interoperability of clinical data remains challenging as usually no controlled terminologies and standards are used. The interpretation is further hampered by a lack of integration of the different data types due to a separation between clinic and laboratory. The ELIXIR-LU team provides support and training in the implementation of standardised electronic data capture in the clinic, data harmonisation and curation. Platforms and analysis tools are provided for an integration of the different types of data to allow an efficient data management and analysis.http://www.elixir-luxembourg.org/
