    • Jr Quality Engineer
      • Dec 2022 - Present

Transitioning from my previous role, I have initially been tasked with a well documented IQ Protocol for an equipment that was recently sent out for repair. While performing the initial IQ I was also tasked with updating work instructions and determining procedures that can be made better.

    • NMR Specialist
      • Oct 2021 - Dec 2022

As a Non-Conforming Material (NMR) Specialist my duties included evaluating product to determine if the stated defect affects the fit, form, or function of the product. My process was to determine a trend code for the defect and a responsible process. Through the use of excel I would input this information where I could see trends with Pareto Charts and Control Charts. I was able to learn a base foundation of SPC that helped me read the data from the indicated charts. From there we have a monthly report through our Quality Steering Team (QST) where information is shared and determined if any specific trend is investigated. With this opportunity I was able to initiate an Investigation of foreign material found in our product packaging. It allowed me to use methods such as the “Five Why’s” and a fishbone diagram. This defect became a CAPA and I am part of the team that is currently looking into probable root causes.

    • Quality Assurance Quality Control
      • Oct 2019 - Oct 2021

Through discovering a new opportunity I began my career in Quality through In-Process Inspection. My main duties were to revise our DHR for Good Documentation Practice, perform inspections according to our specifications, and assist production employees with acceptable or rejected product. My experience allowed me to learn a basic understanding of Digital/Analog testing, Non-Confirming Material, and Deviations on our Bill of Materials. This role allowed me to gain communication and leadership skills. It challenged me to communicate with our production team when specs weren't met and additional adjustments were needed. Through adversity it allowed me to grow as a leader with building base relationships that have helped guide me through my career.

      • May 2016 - Aug 2016

During the summer of 2016 I was able to intern with the Environmental Education team. In this role I was working side by side with one educator where we would plan what a week would look like with a specific age group. For the first half of the summer we had to plan classes for children ages 3 through 5. It was a challenge as you never knew what to expect and we had to be very creative. In the second half we had to plan classes for older kids in the age group of 10 through 12. With this group we planned a camping trip that came with its own challenges. Overall great experience and gave me a new perspective on how hard educators work!

    • High School Intern
      • Sep 2012 - May 2015

During my high school internship I would go one day of the week and be part of the organization to gain professional skills. During my time as a high school intern I was able to participate and learn different roles within the organization. I would assist guest services with giving tours of the building and its history, taking phone calls, and organizing events. One of my other roles as an intern was to assist the Environmental Educators. With the educators I was able to experience leading school groups where I would be able to help plan and lead school groups. The last main role that I took on during my time was assisting the Lawn Stewardship team who helped me gain knowledge on invasive species and how it could affect a eco system. Overall this high school internship has had a crucial role in my professional development!
