Associate Coordinator, International Engineering Education

The Office for International Engineering Education (IEE) at the University of Texas at Austin promotes a global mindset in engineering students by providing students with an opportunity to study and work abroad during the course of their college education. Tasked with the development of promotional agendas in order to create awareness and increase participation in IEE programs. Facilitated transfer of course credits for both incoming and outgoing exchange students. Co-advised students both prior and during their time abroad, and initiated a welcome program for incoming engineering exchange students. Organized information sessions and promotional fairs, including procurement of material, securing event space, and recruiting and coordinating student and faculty volunteers. Required practical flexibility, and necessitated quick learning of graphic design software.
