Gus is a great engineering manager who thinks like an engineer yet has superb management instincts. I learned a lot just watching Gus think out loud in bug scrubs. He has a knack for crystallizing the issues around either working on a defect or tossing it under the bus, and he rarely second-guessed a decision once it was made. I heartily recommend him.
