Project Manager and Engineering Consultant

Jan 2018 - Jul 2018
Management role for the design, production and project delivery of Oasis, an art installation for Vivid, Sydney’s Light and Music Festival. Role spanned over the conceptual design phase to planning and execution. Also provided engineering design consultancy services during the development of the final working prototype of the installation. This also involved design improvisation for site conditions. The 480 sqm light installation was located in the twin ponds in Sydney's Royal Botanical Gardens. The design involved 600 lights mounted over high-strength, high-flexibility custom made ABS plastic extrusions. Slender extrusions were crucial to reflect the concept of fragility and resilience represented in the conceptual design of the installation.
