I have known Gulshan for the last 13 years at Indymac Bank. He was a strong technical leader, who had great strategic insight into identifying unique opportunities to address business challenges with effective technology solutions, and driving those initiatives. He built the IT team at Indymac from the ground up and provided his guidance and expertise into implementing mission critical technology systems. Gulshan had tremendous knowledge of the mortgage banking business and extended his help to everybody in the IT team in understanding the complexities of the business processes that helped them architect and build the most efficient and cost-effective systems. His ability to evaluate and leverage current and emerging technologies for appropriate business needs was also admirable. He was a well-respected CTO at Indymac. I would recommend him for an executive IT manager role in any organization.
