Global Health), within the 3rd phase of the SYNERGY project (funded by the CRDI - Canada - Burkina Faso). Project leader: Thomas Druetz (MA, PhD, Tulane University, Tropical Medicine Department) Objective: Analysis and impact evaluation of Burkina Faso's 2016 National Health Care Policy, covering the health care fees for children (<5 years old) and pregnant women. Context: Nationwide roll-out of a user fee withdrawal plan in June 2016 for the above-mentioned beneficiaries. Working hand in hand with local partners on the ground ; establishing QUAL+QUAN scientific evidences ; enquiring for health benefits, as well as conducting interviews and analysis for an evaluation of the change in women's empowerment.
