  INPE stands for "National Institute of Aero Space Research" located in São José dos Campos a city of São Paulo State in Brazil. I am responsible for installing and keeping data acquisition equipment up and running. The data we collect are storms related to electrical discharges striking lighting rods, thus it is a critical application because it must be assured all equipment is always operating and ready to record, current, electrical field, x-ray emission to an event that is random and lasts 2 seconds at most. We also record video in 100k frames per second to lightning for later study and 3D reconstruction and all collected data are stamped with GPS information to be synchronized. There several sites around São Paulo state with these scientific equipment installed on spots most prone to lightning storms.

  Provide custom repair services to high cost electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. Always with a customer focused attitude, I had to repair the client's equipment as fast as possible and with minimal economic impact. The kind of equipment could vary a lot ranging from scientific analyzers, sensors, dedicated controllers, industrial production machines or large printers. Mostly we dealt with equipment that other companies gave up fixing, did not the expertise or replacement parts. My job was to troubleshoot, search for equivalent or original parts in USA or China market or even designing the missing components.

  Micro Informatica is a large computer distributor located in Miami Florida, USA. My responsibility was to setup RMA service and customer support to computing clients in Brazil and near countries. To accomplish this task, I spent a 3-month-long training course in Shenzhen, China. I needed to receive training on fixing OEM products and acquire to RMA Brasil company, the official service center provider certification levels. My laboratory has ISO 9001 certification and I had all necessary machines to do component level rework to any electronic part even BGAs. All operation was internet based software so that both clients and company could check on-line status to service orders, necessary parts, stock, expected deliver time, all necessary information to their orders. The USA directors could at any time check the production status and act accordingly to adjust demand or prioritize any specific client need.
