-In 2014, Lonely Star Studio was a welfare organization which aimed to uphold public awareness on different physical and mental illnesses. In 2017, Lonely Star Studio created the first sub-group for the organization called Rethink Schizophrenia and had six accounts in six different social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, WordPress, and SoundCloud. Now in 2018, Lonely Star Studio elevates the organization into a digital and cinema production, which aims to present different mental illnesses through short film and raise public awareness about mental illness. -Examples for the previous activity: -Held Film Viewing Activity in movie theater in Wanda Mall, one of the crowded malls in China, and successfully advocated nearly 200 people to attend our film viewing activity to watch a movie called “One Day”, which portrays stories about nine kids suffering from different physical disorders. -Leaded all members in Lonely Star Studio participated in the “My World” Activity, which is held by the United Nations to encourage people to vote for six issues such as equality between men and women that matter most in contemporary society. Our studio eventually found 1795 people participating in this activity. -Leaded the whole team to participate in the 25km walking activity for helping people with physical and mental illnesses.
