Dread Overlord

No matter where I have worked, I have always asked to have the title, Dread Overlord. It has got to be the coolest of titles, surpassing Manager, Director, even President, or CEO. After all, what kind of fear does "CEO" strike in the heart of men? What does it even stand for anyway? Despite making very good arguments as to the usefulness of being Dread Overlord, I was never given permission, Eventually I would hear after weeks of lobbying, "For the 100th time, NO! I get to make the decision because I am the boss, and that is that!" Lame reasoning if you ask me, but I finally figured it out. If I wanted to be Dread Overlord, I had to be the boss, then no one could quash my dreams. Well, that was also a problem. When asked if i could be boss, I was also met with similar "reasons" that I couldn't. "You don't have the right education", or "You haven't worked in this sector long enough", and eventually, I would always hear, "Bosses wear their pants to work EVERY day". Pfft. Education? Experience? Pants? This "being the Boss" thing didn't seem like a really good idea anymore. No wonder they are always so stiff and no one invites them to happy hour. But, the thing is, My entire professional ambition at this point was to hold the Title Dread Overlord. So I decided that I could invite others to happy hour myself if that was really important, and I could make make a compromise on the pants thing. Casual Friday could be a really fun work-around! That being settled, I started my own company. I AM the Boss, and I gave myself the title, Dread Overlord. It may have been the proudest moment of my life. So, what do we do? I'll let you know what we do when I figure it out. :) It will probably be something super helpful that saves lives, makes colors appear brighter, gets out the toughest of stains, heals broken hearts and make sure every puppy has a loving home, at least for starters. Stay tuned!

I write stuff on occasion, but the Editor in Chief carves up my stuff so much that is barely resembles anything I started with by the time it gets on the site.This project is the most fun anyone can have online!
