Glenda Wooten
I had the pleasure of working with Grace for 8 years during my time at Carolinas HealthCare System. I found Grace to be a forward thinking leader who always advocated for her staff and the patients they cared for. She did a great job building effective relationships with Medical staff and also collaborated with other departments to promote excellent quality patient care. Grace served as a mentor for not only those she supervised but for leaders in other departments as well. She has helped many individuals understand the importance of teamwork, collaboration and personal self-growth. She was a leader who was not afraid to make hard decisions when needed. Grace is also a leader that focuses on the big picture in any situation contributing to many of the successes of the organization including the first Magnet designation. Grace is a dedicated and committed leader who has always served as a role model and mentor to me! I highly endorse her as a leader, mentor and teacher!
