Since 2013, I've started to discover myself from the ground up. Several years of eating junk food, using antibiotics, over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, poor sleep management, sugar addiction, not to mention workaholism, took a toll. Just before I reached 100 kg on the scale and started experiencing serious consequences of my ignorance. My Restorative strength, one of my top 5 Gallup strengths, has finally kicked in, and I've discovered my passion for uncovering suboptimal areas. My areas of interest, mentors, and experiences include: Ultra Trail Running achievements: • 240 km (43 hours) Dolnośląski Festiwal Biegów Górskich • 170 km (30 hours) - 2nd place - Ultra Trail Małopolska • 150 km (22-26 hours) Łemkowyna Ultra Trail - completed five times • 100 km (20 hours) Winter Ultra Trail Małopolska • 100 km (15 hours) Festiwal Biegowy Krynica • 52 x Ultra (ultra distance every weekend for 52 weeks) Healthy Eating Eliminating processed foods, sugar, refined oil, salt, caffeine, and alcohol. Adopting a whole food, plant-based, S.O.S.-free (Salt, Oil, Sugar) diet, influenced by experts like Dr. T. Collin Campbell, Dr. Allan Goldhammer, Dr. Gouglas N. Graham. Fasting Exploring intermittent fasting (16/8, 18/6) and fasting durations ranging from 24 hours to 7 days, with insights from Dr. Allan Goldhammer, Dr. Valter Longo, and Yoshinori Ohsumi (Nobel Prize 2016). Breathing Learning from experts like Patric McKeown, Wim Hof, and James Nestor. Minimalistic Running Incorporating insights from Prof. Daniel Lieberman, Dr. Mark Cucuzzella, Eric Orton, and Christopher McDougall. Cold Water Exposure Engaging in cold showers and cold water immersions during winter, inspired by Wim Hof. Low Heart Training Utilizing methodologies from Dr. Phil Maffetone (MAF), Eric Orton, and Kilian Jornet. Psychology Exploring personality dimensions through tests like Big 5, Gallup, and Friss. Delving into evolutionary psychology with inspiration from Dr. Doug Lisle, Dr. Jen Howk, David M. Buss. Show less

Having all the available books about UX on my shelf and a Master's degree in usability in my pocket, I called myself an Information Architect. Now it was time to put my theoretical knowledge into practice. The slope was steep. In the first year or two, I worked 12 hours a day (not proud of that) diving deep into: • Gathering data and knowledge needed from clients and users. • Paper prototyping. • Multilevel information architecture concepts. • Preparing and conducting complex tree testing studies. • Challenging my brain with multiple concepts to solve the same problem. • Preparing scenarios and workflows for usability studies. • Observing dozens of usability studies through a Venetian mirror and keeping my fingers crossed for my designs. • Gathering user feedback. • Based on discussions with psychologists, synthesizing recommendations for improvements. • Working closely with graphic designers and developers. • Making efficient use of Axure. Then, I started feeling a little more confident, realizing that I could handle pretty complicated projects and be a leading designer. I was responsible for: • Conducting workshops for businesses and organizations while stepping into the next level of their (and my) maturity. • Leading UX designers and graphic designers. • Teaching newcomers to UX the proper mindset and skills. • Ensuring quality assurance. • Teaching and developing an efficient workflow in Axure for interaction prototyping. During those years, I had the opportunity to participate in the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) conference in Paris and the User Experience (UX) conference in London, which gave me new perspectives and plenty of food for thought. With just a small experience in Photoshop and so-so experience with HTML & CSS, JavaScript, and databases, I took a plunge into my first real work: designing and developing websites for local companies, cities, municipalities, and even a monastery. I was tasked with designing and developing: • an in-house CMS system, • working on SAS projects, • creating my first e-commerce platforms, • an social platform that was not a big hit Everything was new, and I learned the hard way. Raw feedback from my clients became my teacher, helping me identify areas where I needed to put in more effort. I celebrated those moments when changing my mindset and gaining new knowledge paid off. After 5 years and obtaining a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, along with an extra 30kg of weight, I realized that Information Architecture and Usability would be my path forward.
