As a member of the HR Team for contingent staff, my area of focus was mainly in the recruitment and administration of senior consultant staff for the new Passenger Service Systems program at the IT-wing of the Emirates Group, the weekly 2-day induction training for new joiners, processing renewals/termination of contracts for consultant staff and a range of reporting activities including SLA’s, KPI’s, scheduled as well as adhoc reports to the management whilst supporting the team with additional requests. Being the point of contact for stakeholders and vendors, coordination, prioritization and management of people were also part of my day. I was one of the few team members who was authorized to complete the HR interviews for all shortlisted candidates which was mandatory to complete that candidates selection.

HR Generalist, November 2012 – April 2014 HR Intern, May 2012 – November 2012 Part of the early preopening team for the launch of the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, Dubai, I was able to guide and support the management and associates through a full spectrum of HR operational activities, systems and programs. I worked closely with senior management in multiple recruitment drives for properties across MENA, managed HR operational processes, coordinated the full cycle of the on-boarding process, payroll support and data maintenance on HRIS as well as was involved in investigations and exit interviews. Actively involved in all associate relation activities, I was responsible for associate communications through display boards and screens and was also able to be the sounding board for the associates while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Achievements: - Managed personnel records of 1500 associates receiving a full score for audit. - Recipient of the Standing Ovation Award as part of Marriott Associate Recognition Program.- Created the first Employee Handbook for the company - Symphony of Excellence.
