Grisel was a pleasure to work with. She was instrumental in helping us move on several website projects. Her ability to adapt and implement systems to help our business operate. She worked with customers and helped us outsource projects.

I've worked with Grisel for the past year and this semester I had the privilege to be her VP. From her, I learned so much about leadership. For starters, she was organized, shared her goals with the team freely, and wasn't afraid to pivot when something wasn't working. On a personal level, she's lively, positive, and supportive. I think this is best shown through her ability to have a lot going on but you would never know because she's there when you need her and she delivers on her promises. I loved working with her because she's a relationship builder, passionate, and knowledgeable about her work in marketing. She has great range and is very resourceful to learn or work on something she's not familiar with. A huge example of her leadership shines through when I think about her organization of our large networking event in April 2022. To put this on she worked with our school's SLE department which involves planning months in advance (submitting guest forms, reserving a location, crafting a food menu, creating a budget, deciding on the theme, creating a marketing strategy) and the result was she ended up putting together our most community-engaged networking event since returning to campus in-person. I was hesitant about hosting another networking event but I'm glad I trusted her vision and got to meet 4 amazing panelists and share them with our USF community. Lastly, she's given me the confidence to be able to walk in her shoes as president because not only did she include me in everything but she welcomed my perspective. Grisel is a leader who develops leaders myself included and that's something I aim to achieve next semester. Thank you, Grisel for your contributions to the marketing club 💜
