  In 2018, one of Prof. Toffoli’s postdocs from The University of Melbourne visited Leuven. He was impressed by my expertise with CFD. As a result, I was invited for a research visit with The University of Melbourne's Ocean engineering research group where I worked on the wave modelling part of my PhD. I was granted a Long Stay Travel Grant by the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) in order to do so. In 2018, one of Prof. Toffoli’s postdocs from The University of Melbourne visited Leuven.
