"Miss Gretchen," as she was known by my daughter when she taught her ballet, was a trusted mentor to my daughter during my daughter's formative years. Gretchen made ballet fun, while still maintaining some of the discipline for which ballet is known. Gretchen knows how to get the best out of the kids she teaches, but also knows how to earn the respect of the parents. She's very insightful, takes pains to understand and improve within whatever role she takes on, and helped us to be better parents. Gretchen's one of those people who, if you are fortunate enough to work with her, makes you wonder if there's anything she can't do. I would enter my daughter into any activity that Grechen was a part of, and that's the highest praise I can think to give her.
