It is with pleasure that I recommend Gretchen Bender. I have known Gretchen for over 13 years and was her direct manager for over 7 years. I recommended several promotions for her, each of which was strategically important for the organization and well deserved by her. Gretchen has shown growth in her business acumen throughout her career and a continued desire to learn. Her initiative and work ethic is impressive and representative of her continued career potential. During her rise through the organization she also chose to get her Masters degree. Her performance was never impacted by this effort and she was able to complete her degree requirements ahead of schedule. During my direct involvement with Gretchen, the organization went through several transitions around structure, ownership and staffing. She was at the point on the strategic direction of these iterations and provided the leadership to make them successful. They were and she was a primary reason. She is positive, knowledgeable, hard working and a true leader. She is comfortable with uncomfortable situations and humane in handling performance issues. I was pleased and honored to have her as a part of our organization and would recommend her to any interested parties. Probably the highest compliment I can pay to Gretchen is that, as her manager, I would be honored to work for her!

Gretchen worked for me for 5 years at Global Payments. I promoted her twice in that time frame. I would recommend her as one of the finest sales leaders I have known. And this includes my tenure at ADP and Amex. She simplifies complex sales model issues, builds a strong, loyal and committed team, scales her organization....and most importantly...makes her goals. We were faced with many strategic and tactical challenges in improving a sales model at GPN that had a wide range of bank, ISO and Technology Partners...as well as some Direct and Inside sales. She provided great thought leadership on how to prioritize and simplify our model, and then execute the change. She possesses very strong FinTech and payments domain expertise, combined with excellent strategic and tactical sales leadership.
