Bio
Bradford Smith
Gregory was an excellent student -- his research skills are excellent as is his writing. He consistently went well beyond what was required on an assignment to do a first-class job. He was also a genuine leader in discussion, never dominating, but always pointing the class in meaningful directions. All in all, he was a delight to have in class.

I help ensure that students in our International Student Program are tested and appropriately placed for their levels of English. I essentially built the Registrar position from scratch, designing all the policies and procedures that we currently use for the department. As a fully-accredited F-1 visa English school, The English Island has exacting placement requirements. The procedures I created make sure that these requirements are followed every time a new student joins our program. I work closely with the school director, director of curriculum and instruction, lead teacher, and academic liaison to plan upcoming courses. In addition, I fulfill students' requests for documents and assist in verifying that grades and attendance are recorded and that teacher paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Show less
