Founding partner of consumer electronics retail stores located in Champaign, Sidney, and Danville Illinois. I was responsible for all electronic engineering at August Systems. In addition to retail sales, August Systems provided design engineering services to Grafyx Loudspeakers of Addison and St. Charles IL from 1976 until 1982. Grafyx manufactured a very popular line of home audio loudspeakers that were sold in all 50 states at more than 250 independent audio/stereo stores. Many Grafyx speakers are still in use by their original owners today. I have a set of them in my own stereo and they sound just as good today as they did in 1982.
