I've had the pleasure to work with Gregoire for the last 13 years, at Def2Shoot and more recently at DxO. For the last 8 years at DxO, I've been his manager and Scrum Master and we've been interacting on a daily basis should it be locally or remotely. Grégoire is the most talented developer I've ever met. He's the kind of guy you can rely on in all situations. On a project for which he already knows the implied technologies, he'll be able to implement things very quickly, in an iterative and incremental way, using all the good pratices you can expect from a professional software engineer (automated testing, design patterns, continuous integration, branching strategies, etc). On a project where he'll have to explore and define new stacks, you'll be amazed by the ability of Grégoire to quickly identify problems and then find & implement the best solution, using technologies he didn't know a some hours or days before. Grégoire has always been very kind and respectful team member. He's able to discuss with others to find the most appropriate solution or to share his knowledge on any topic. He's also very experienced in pair programming and showed great efficiency with that practice, should it be to tackle complex problems or to help a new team member ramp up on a topic. Grégoire as been a scrum team member for 8 years and perfectly knows all the practices and behaviors to make an Agile team run in an efficient way. He's able to help the team self organize and suggest improvements to make it run better. Any company looking for a highly skilled software engineer would really make a great move by hiring Grégoire. Not only he'll succeed in any task you'll have for him but he'll make the whole team go faster and smoother.

I have been working with Grégoire for more than 7 years at DxO now (Grégoire being part of the OpticsPro/PhotoLab development team). Grégoire is definitively the kind of person you want in your team. Not only he is one of the most skilled developer I have ever worked with (we probably wouldn't have successfully delivered most of the versions of OpticsPro/PhotoLab without him) but he is also a very committed team player, always dedicated to deliver the best possible product. Last but not least, Grégoire is also a very nice and open-minded person. I would highly recommend him to any future employer. Please feel free to contact me for further reference information.
