TIM MITCHELL
I had the pleasure of working with Gregoire (Greg) initially when handing over my role as Country Manager for Michelin in Cambodia & Laos. I could see from the start that Greg was a quick learner, fully understanding the group’s strategy and vision and the resulting objectives & initiatives to be prioritised and adapted for emerging markets. I was impressed with his analytical and problem-solving abilities. Greg was also quick to demonstrate his excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling him to establish strong relationships with the team and our importers. Greg was able to successfully navigate the business through very challenging conditions during the pandemic. He remained optimistic and ambitious, knowing that with strong effort and team work, the results would follow. And they certainly did – within his first full year, he and his team fully achieved all volume and revenue targets set by the group. Aside from his solid business acumen, what really stood out were his leadership, negotiation and project management skills. They were all key factors in the successful launch of Michelin Motorcycle and Materials Handling product lines into Cambodia, Laos (& Myanmar). It was very satisfying for me seeing Greg take Cambodia, Laos & Myanmar to the next level of growth and financial results. Personally, I found Greg to be a very genuine person with high integrity and strong family values. He also has a great sense of humour! I'd be happy to take your call if you wanted to discuss anything further in relation to Greg. Tim Mitchell
