Bio
Eve Lise Mamane
I have had the privilege of working with Gregg at the GLORIA Center in 2012 as one of his interns. Gregg acted both as my superviser and a teacher as I was working on political science projects for the Center. He constantly encouraged me to extend my knowledge, discover new grounds, and challenge opinions. He inspired me to be adventurous in my work all the while being meticulous. His guidance went beyond assignment instructions : he tought me how to build the strongest arguments and defend my opinions. When working at the GLORIA Center, Gregg was a true leader to all the interns. Passionate about his work, he easily transferred this passion on to all of us, making us a team of dedicated and hard working contributing members of the Center. While showing an outstandingly deep understanding of historical and political events, and having a strongly rooted opinion, Gregg always welcomes debate and discussion. His openness in this regard transformed his interns’ working experience at the Center into a truely enriching learning time. I very much enjoyed learning from Gregg. He is most definitely a superviser that encourages creativity and thinking outside the box, and it is my pleasure to call him a mentor until today.

Gregg Roman never ceased to amaze me with his energy, abilities and organizational skills while at GLORIA. Extremely eloquent and knowledgeable, Gregg managed a pivotal role as an inspirational director at GLORIA: always ready and able to work, surpass expectations and lead everyone. Gregg is a hard worker and great inspiration. Working with him was an enriching experience I cherish. Gregg and I worked closely at GLORIA, organizing interviews, debates, reviews, op-eds and projects. Greggs abilities are surpassed by no other and has more than demonstrated his leadership as an integral part of the GLORIA staff and team.
