Joe Bartel
Gregg Kruer has established himself as a leader in our industry. Perhaps the skill that most aptly describes his professionalism is his ability to listen to issues and come up with solutions that benefit both parties. While many leaders spend their efforts finding what benefits them personally, Gregg is searching for a solution that benefits all. This enables him to develop close relationships with teammates and competitors alike and makes him unique in our challenging industry.

As the former President and CEO of KITCO Fiber Optics before our sale to Berkshire Hathaway in 2017 I was blessed to have an outstanding team of managers leading our high performance company. Leading the way was Gregg Kruer who led our Field Services Division as its Director. Gregg worked his way into his leadership position at KITCO through hard work, a keen sense of recognizing and executing business opportunities and building strong and lasting relationships with customers, suppliers and our employees. Gregg’s exceptional mentoring skills enabled him to build and grow the best install team in the harsh environment shipboard arena on the east and west coasts. To this day I still regard Gregg as one of the best and brightest managers I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
