  Turned a contract temp. job into permanent position, with KBTF buying out my 3 month contract from the placement agency based upon my first month's performance. Worked extensively on asbestos and silicosis litigation, working with the lawyers to aide in developing strategies to track large volume of documents and medical and employment records. Had direct contact with expert witnesses and providing and tracking the materials they needed and used. I also worked on several employment cases stemming from allegations of wrongful termination, discrimination, ageism, racism, and sexual harassment. Was known as the "go to" paralegal for trial-likely cases. Assisted attorneys in several asbestos and employment trials from inception to conclusion. Managed vast amounts of information and created quarterly status reports to clients. Reviewed and summarized deposition transcripts and medical and employment records. Show less
