  I started working as a Paraeducator for a year during the 2014/2015 school year. It was after the experience of helping students with special needs that I decided to enter into a more impactful position as an Educational Specialist. During my second and third year as an Ed. Specialist, I accepted the role of Department chair where I was provided the opportunity for more interactions with those in the front office and decision making ability.
