General Manager responsible for the delivery of the £188 Million Oldham & Rochdale Streetlighting PFI. Initially overseeing the change process including the staff TUPE transfers, the contract negotiations prior to financial closure, the development of IT systems to assist in the asset management and reporting procedure, reconciliation of the bid into a workable budget in line with the payment mechanism and cost/value reconciliation.As this is the companies first contract undertaken as a traditional contractor I had to oversee and develop a complete set of working operational procedures for the contract tangible to the specific KPI’s, procurement of materials and specialist sub contractors.Mobilsation has also included sourcing and appointing an independent certifier, presentation to the financial lenders / SVP/Client, completion of the due diligence process, establishing negotiation/discussion with stakeholders, setting up the new depot, recruiting the remainder of the contract team and purchasing the fleet of plant & vehicles required during the core investment period. I had a team of 110 staff reporting through me excluding supply chain resources which are in excess of a further 240 staff. Show less
