Greg Kovacs is an inspiring leader in education and non profit management. He runs an incredibly impactful organization which serves disadvantaged students holisitically. I have learned a great deal regarding leadership and strategy from working with Greg in our peer mentoring group. I am greatly appreciative to know Greg Kovacs.
Chelsea L.
Greg has been one of the most dedicated and hard-working bosses I have ever worked for. He has devoted much of his time into the C5 Youth Foundation to allow students to have the opportunity of a lifetime at summer camp in Wyoming. Greg not only works with the staff to ensure the health and well-being of the students, but also puts much of his time and effort into getting to know each student and assessing their needs and desires during and after their camp experience. Greg's interest in this program is more than words can describe because he is very enthusiastic about displaying his values of helping others and creating close relationships through his work. Greg has been a huge influence on my future educational and career goals. He has taught me skills working with students at the camp, but most importantly, he has inspired me to take initiative to reach and achieve my goals. I have had the honor and privilege to work with such a great role model, Greg Kovacs.

C5LA is a five-year youth leadership development program, designed to inspire high-potential, at-risk youth from under-resourced environments in Los Angeles to obtain higher education and personal success. Our goal is for our youth to graduate high school, attend college and become productive, happy and successful adults who will live the C5 mission as “make a difference” adult leaders in their communities. In 2001, the Coca-Cola system recognized a need to invest in the lives of young people –– especially those from under-resourced environments –– helping them become successful, productive, contributing adults. Far too many American teens do not graduate from high school, dropping out because they lack a positive vision for their future. And, across the country there is also a gap in services for youth ages thirteen to eighteen who are at greater risk of becoming "disconnected" from school, community, and even family. In consulting with youth development, community, and school leaders, a recurring theme was the need for programming that reaches high-potential teens with limited resources. The Camp Coca-Cola program was created to provide the framework essential to help talented young people develop as leaders and achieve success in their lives. Continuing Coca-Cola's history of community-based support for youth and educational initiatives, Camp Coca-Cola works closely with local schools and youth organizations within the community to provide opportunities for young people to discover and explore their interests, values, and talents. Camp Coca-Cola will challenge young leaders to see the world as a place where anything is possible and to ask themselves, "What can I accomplish that will really make a difference?"
