Jan 2004 - Jan 2011
I repaired network servers, desktop unit’s hardware and software related issues. I Trouble shoot both hardware and software to figure out the best and most cost efficient way to repair things. I worked with my collogues as long as with outside venders on cost management. Day to day operations in the IT department which could consist of a normal eight hour day to being on call all hours of the day and night for emergencies. SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) With Rockwell Software. Uploading and downloading programs to individual PLC’S (programmable logic controller). I edited and wrote programs for a verity of different functioning processes within the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Some examples are UV control and chemical injection control based off of flow rates measured in MGD (Million Gallons per Day). Pump rates based on tank volumes and flow rates as well.
