Greg is a great team player and nothing is too much trouble for him. His knowledge of the sector has grown tremendously and he has the ability to adapt to the ever changing challenges, especially ESF, providing reports as appropriate. Greg is a great asset to any team.

Andy Hardy

I worked with Greg for nearly two years when we worked together on an ESF project. He is a very quick study and learns new skills quickly and accurately. His technical skills have developed a great deal and he has a good grasp of technologies such as scripting and report development. He has a really positive attitude and works hard on any task given to him. I have found him to be a reliable and outstanding member of the team.

My role at the College is incredibly varied from system and user support, through to system maintenance, process reviews and SQL report development tasks. Here are some of the areas that I have been working on during my time at the College;PAPERLESS PROJECTI have been heavily involved with streamlining the electronic paperwork processes within the College. This project has been mostly achieved by utilising Adobe PDF forms to capture and return operational data into our administrative functions. I have used the following skills in supporting this project;1) Organisational and Process Reviews2) Form development and design using a variety of Adobe products but specifically LiveCycle3) Developed and implemented various validation functions in the operational forms based on multiple SFA funding regulations. 4) Maintained existing electronic workflows and implemented new routing processes, within a third party document management software package, to aid administration processes. (Used JavaScript programming within these workflows)5) Used database and SQL tools to populate previously captured data into operational forms, prior to engagement taking place.6) Supported the training and installation processes for around 100 staff members across various campus locations. This has included face to face delivery of training as well as the production of multiple visual guides in the form of instructional video tutorials.7) Responsible for stakeholder communications. SYSTEMSI am responsible for maintaining some of the College's third party software packages including but not limited to; Tribal's EBS and Maytas systems, ImageNow electronic document management system and various in-house database functions. REPORTINGUsing SQL tools to analyse and report on the College's data, at various levels, for use by it's key stakeholders to support performance management. Further information on my current SQL duties and capabilities can be found in my summary profile. Show less

Providing administrative support on an ESF project within the Sheffield City region. The role involved funding and compliance audit checks, MIS support, monitoring of data and maintaining communications with external subcontractors. I was largely involved with the projects curriculum set up within the college MIS system and the checking if funding quals for eligibility. I also took responsibility for providing subcontractors with data extracts throughout the 2 year project and acted as a point of reference for any funding or MIS related discrepancies. Show less
