Dr. Fiebig has been my professor, and it's very easy to say that he is one of the best professors I've ever had. In his classes, he's stretched me beyond what I thought I could handle or understand, but in that, I've grown, matured, and learned more than I thought possible. He's taken abstract concepts that people write books on and brought them down to my level. I've also had the opportunity to do two different PR campaigns for Dr. Fiebig. As a client, he is open and willing to work with what you think would be best. He balanced our client/ professor relationship well, giving me feedback when necessary, but always praising my work. Dr. Fiebig is one of the hardest workers I know. As a professor, he cares for his students. As a division chair, he cares for his students as a whole and his staff. As the Executive Director of Hoosier Shakes, he cares for the community he lives in and for the arts as a whole.

Greg is a talented artist, an inspirational educator and a compassionate and conscientious part of his church, civic and academic communities. Although we were SBU undergrads and fellow Speech and Theatre majors at different times, I had the opportunity to observe and interact with Greg over the duration of his subsequent professorship at SBU. During Greg’s time as SBU Director of Theatre, I served on the SBU National Alumni Association Board, and had three daughters involved with the theatre department. One of the girls was a Speech Comm. major, one was a Theatre major and worked for Greg in the dept. office, and the third was a Business Admn. Major. All the girls had classes with Greg and worked on his productions in one capacity or another. The respect that each of the girls had for Greg grew into a sincere admiration on their part and from my wife and me as well. We are grateful for the lives he touched and helped shape in his time at our Alma Mater.
