Relationship ManagementResponsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships in the sports travel industry. Has helped position Louisville as a national leader for hosting events at the highest level. Bid Development and Preparation Responsibilities include recruiting, managing and providing staff support to the local bid committee. Developed the bid screening policies, procedures and criteria for the committee.Set destination goals for sports recruitment and retention. Target and solicit events and sports related meetings and conventions to meet set goals. Work in conjunction with the Louisville Convention Bureau to position the destinations brand as an industry leader. Work closely with the TEAM Kentucky leadership to position the Commonwealth as a sports friendly state. Work closely with all twenty TEAM Kentucky partners helping identify opportunities for each of their destinations. Oversee bid process and make recommendations to committee when needed. Event Development and ManagementCreate and execute the developmental plan for LSC owned and operated events. Has helped develop eight LSC owned and operated events. Coordinate the local production and servicing of all events hosted by LSC as outlined in bids.Oversee compliance with bid document and oversight of all contracts.
