  I founded Tall Tale Productions in 1991 after working at several production companies until that point. The name was a tribute to my grandmother who was a traditional storyteller, having learned the craft from workers on her grandfather's farm. I learned the art of storytelling from my grandmother and applied her teachings to the realm of film and video production. Tuscarora Films is an offshoot of Tall Tale, but with a larger national presence. It is also a nod to my grandmother as The Fable of Bulltop Stormalong, whose ship was the Tuscarora, was one of her favorite Tall Tales!
