  At Graham I worked as a civil engineer on a range of heavy civil engineering projects throughout N.I. and mainland U.K. IWWF Networks - £10m various waste water projects incl. new construction of pumping stations, cassion shafts, gravity pipelines, rising mains, culverts, etc. and the refurbishment of existing storm water pumping stations.M80 Stepps to Haggs (Glasgow) - £330m project consisting of construction of 10km of greenfield motorway and 8km of upgrading dual carriageway to motorway statusEdinburgh Trams - £756m project on which I was responsible for the construction of an RC over bridge and 1.5km of track slab adjacent and existing railway line. Dounreay LLWF - £25m project on which I was involved during the earthworks stage in the construction of two 100m long x 50m wide x 17m deep subsurface vaults in which low level radioactive waste was to be stored arising from the decommissioning of the adjacent power plant

  In this role I worked as a design engineer producing engineering drawings for planning permissions for some of Northern Ireland's largest housing developments. I carried out cut/fill analysis to set road alignments and finished floor levels, carried out drainage designs for storm and foul networks including design of flood attenuation systems.
