KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ► Oversee, review and co-ordinate all site operations and production planning, budgeting, expense control and overall management with departmental managers. ► Oversee operational asset planning, maintenance and development, particularly efficiency improvements on-site. ► Ensure efficient management of labour to maximise production and minimise costs, materials and products. ► Oversee Cellar Managers ensuring work schedules planned well in advance and prioritizing tasks in consultation with Winemakers to meet packaging and bulk sales deadlines. ► Maintain timely, accurate and clearly expresses reporting of operations. ► Performance management of employees (150 FT staff) including training and development, discipline and positive reinforcement, and conflict resolution. ► Involve in recruitment and selection of long and short term employees. ► Manage and negotiation of group industrial and employee relations ► Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in key risk areas of safety, environment, food safety and quality. ► Management of return to work plans for injured workers. ► Providing operational guidance and assistance with trouble shooting of a wide variety of equipment.
