Bio
Anne Cunningham
Gray's the guy everyone wants on their team, and with good reason. His environmental concept art is impeccable, inventive, and fast. Incredibly fast. I don't think he's human, he may be an android. From the gritty streets of Gotham to unexplored planets in Guardians of the Galaxy, Gray has a distinct knack for thinking through the playable space and asking the right questions upfront to get the best out of the art teams. He can work with 2D in any style, complex mattes, and laughs in the face of technical challenges or creative changes. An endgame boss, Gray also takes the time to document best practices and spread his know-how not just with art teams but at the studio level. If he was an adjective, it'd be superlative.

I had the pleasure of working with Gray at Telltale for a number of years. He is a constant professional and an extraordinary concept artist. His design choices are always fresh and creative. His linework is a modeler's dream, perspective on point, and he has great lighting, mood, and color sense. He provides accurate callouts and helpful reference to all of his designs. If there are new tools/techniques that might aid his productivity and skill set, he will eagerly and quickly learn them without sacrificing his main responsibilities. On top of his design work, he is great to work with, takes feedback well, and provides great encouragement, leadership, and positivity towards his colleagues. I would be happy to chat with anyone who needs further recommendation of his skill set or professional nature.
