  As a firefighter/paramedic I responded to emergency calls for assitance, both medical and fire calls. I was the coordinator of a Tactical Response team working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (domestic response teams), and the State of Florida Task force (now known as Florida Task Force Three); I was the training coordinator for the Tampa Bay Region Disaster Medical Response Team (DMAT); in addition I was a paramedic assigned to the Marine Response team on the fire department. Throughout my career I acted as a medical preceptor for the local college, and as a training preceptor for the fire department. Show less
