Grant stepped in at the very last minute when I was let down by someone else. He very quickly assessed the situation, produced a viable technology and recruitment plan, which, once approved, was implemented on time and to budget. He demonstrated excellent technology awareness as well as proving himself very adept at selecting superb candidates for the various management and call centre positions. Grant work with me on introducing Salesforce into Westminster on what turned out to be a complex requirement. We mapped a very specific business process which was not a classic out of the box commercial sales type scenario. Grant provide excellent advise and in-depth knowledge that allowed us to achieve the requirement without over customising and/or breaking the core product structure. Very conscientious and able to understand business outcomes against functionality with intelligence and thoughtfulness.       I was engaged on a short term contract basis to establish a help and support desk to provide end user support for the CompeteFor (www.competefor.com) business brokerage website. During the initial set up phase I agreed and documented SLAs and operational processes with the public sector client's stakeholders. Working with the service provider's HR department I selected and recruited the helpdesk agents and trained them in management of the system. Following evaluation of the service provider's available CRM systems I decided to implement a salesforce.com CRM solution for the helpdesk team. I subsequently developed and implemented the CRM solution. Based on project call volumes I set up the Call Centre telephony solution. I supervised the help desk team in performing functional software testing as the solution was developed by the system solution provider and prepared the team for the live service launch in January 2008. I performed the role of Operations Manager for the team on an interim basis and recruited the permanent role holder and then handed over to him. Since handing over the role I have be re-engaged on a number of occasions to programme manage the ongoing development of additional service functionality.
