While working with Grant at Cooler Screens I was impress with his leadership ability that crossed organizational boundaries. Grant found ways to cut through red tape, create and develop entirely new processes, and improve upon existing processes. Grant is a highly technically skilled engineer who helped to lead a massive rewrite of an internal application that completely revolutionized our work flow. He completed major features that lead to company time and cost savings. On top of all that, Grant uses his sense of humor to build rapport and morale within the team which I greatly appreciated it. Any company would be lucky to have Grant work for them, and I hope to work with him in the future.

I had the privilege of attending Fullstack Academy with Grant, where we kicked off an immediate friendship. When we finally had the opportunity to formally work together at Cooler Screens, I was blown away by how far his full-stack development skills had come. Grant's strong technical intuition and advocacy makes him a valuable asset to any team. He has a unique ability to understand complex domains and design intelligent abstractions for them, and his exceptional design sense is reflected in the stunning and user-friendly interfaces he creates. Grant's love of clean code and data extends to the backend, as well. During our full-system rewrite, he played a vital role in migrating data from multiple, disorganized databases and helping the team design a better, single source of truth, replacement. In addition to his technical skills, Grant is a true leader, able to motivate his team with ease and able to keep a calm head while delivering incredible effort. Personally, Grant is a well-rounded individual, with a sense of adventure that is demonstrated through his participation in extreme physical challenges like triathlons and rock climbing. Grant's easygoing personality and humor makes pair programming with him a delight; his positivity is infectious. I highly recommend Grant for any company looking to excel in their technical endeavors.
