Development and implementation of all matters of School policy in the Junior School (ELC – Year 6) in conjunction with the Headmaster and School Council. Management of day to day operations in the Junior School including planning, identification and addressing special needs, promotion of positive relationships with parents, implementation of staff appraisals, and development of budgets in conjunction with the Headmaster and Business Manager. Development of all programs to meet the needs of students in the Junior School. Promotion of the Junior School in the wider community. Recruitment of Junior School teaching staff in conjunction with the Headmaster. Pastoral care of both students and staff. Scholarship selection process, working with Head Master. Selection of students in conjunction with the Director of Admissions.. Development and planning of best practice in relation to curriculum and to liaise and coordinate with the Director of Studies. Effective implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP) for ELC to Year 6 in conjunction with the Junior School PYP Coordinator. Promotion of ICT within the programs offered by the Junior School. One of the School’s Department of Human Services licence holders for the Trinity Early Learning Centre. Maintain and enhance the Junior School’s capacity to attract and retain students capable of high achievement, and to develop in students a sense of compassion and future leadership qualities for the benefit of society.
