Founded and developed comprehensive instrumental music program from scratch beginning Spring 2012. The program now includes 150+ student 5-12 (across three buildings) and is expected to increase by at least 20 students per year for the next four years. Program includes: 6 middle school concert band ensembles 1 high school concert band ensemble pep band drumline jazz band Tindley Band students participate in ISSMA Solo and Ensemble festival as well as ISSMA Organizational band festival. Tindley band students have participated in the Circle City Classic Parade, performed for three time world champion snare drummer Jeff Queen, tennis star Andre Agassi, and Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard.
