UCLAS – Design of metal frames in landing gear bay. Firebird – Design improvement of flight controls to reduce load functional load. This was achieved by reducing weight of components and limiting system play through tightening of tolerances in system. Design of composite ventral doors and Metallic door linkage. Design of landing gear composite doors. Design of ECS installation. Design using Catia V5 and Team-center. UCLAS – Design of metal frames in landing gear bay. A320-NEO-Thrustreverser - Design of the fire-seals, seal-retainers and supporting structure, using Catia V5, Enovia and Team-Center. Performed deflection studies to size seals. A350-Thrustreverser – Redesign to reduce weight using Catia V5, Team-Center and Enovia. Reduced weight by using lighter materials and thinner gauges; also reduced fastener sizes and quantity. This involved machined and sheet metal parts, and sub assemblies. A320-NEO-Thrustreverser - Design of the fire-seals, seal-retainers and supporting structure, using Catia V5, Enovia and Team-Center. 787 – 8 - Flight Deck Isle Stand, using Catia V5 and Enovia to incorporate ADCN changes to the composite isle stand. Used model based definition. Created a tool design for a rot able shipping container 747-8 - Tool Design of assembly fixtures, emphasis on light weight ergonomically friendly tooling. 747-8 - Fight Test Wire Routing. Created wire routings for the main landing gear bay and the fuselage. Created test drawing using temperature probes, ducting probes using Catia V4 & V5 for modeling 3d and creating 2d drawings, PDM and Enovia for Database management. 747-8 - Fixed trailing edge, Using Catia V5 for modeling, relational design and FT&A. Using Enovia for Database management and IVT for integration. Tasks included wing trailing edge: machined ribs, machined beams, clips, fittings and tie rods. Created details and assemblies using model based definition. The installation was modeled in Catia 3d then defined using 2d Catia drawings. Show less
