Also partake in store visits to ensure that VM standards in store are in line with VM guidelines and that any necessary changes have been implemented i.e. markdowns, price trials, signage, price amendments etc. -Liaise with suppliers, logistics, buying teams and processors to ensure that the Critical Path is maintained i.e bookings are made on time. -Negotiate with suppliers and processors on many issues and build strong relationships to aid this. -Attend weekly web meetings and present the best and worst product and highlight any potential issues. Ensure that all the information on the website is up to date including descriptions and photography. -Prepare sign-off packs for Phase Sign-Off meetings with divisional management and attend these meetings. -Plan and action any necessary markdowns for my department and complete both sales proposal sheets and event proposal sheets for management by analyzing current/forecasted sales performance. Also ensure that stores receive the information in adequate time to implement any changes. -Provide crucial support to the merchandising team on a daily basis by analyzing sales trends, monitoring deliveries and maintaining stock levels in 163 stores. -Allocating stock to stores and finding the balance between reacting quickly to sales to satisfy customer demand and not sending too much stock that may result in markdown.
