Bio
Ken Burke
At Acenden, Graham was faced with a company transitioning from what was effectively an operating division to an independent, stand-alone company. Graham essentially built the HR function department from the ground up. In addition, Graham was instrumental in recruiting most of the key senior management positions in the Company (during a difficult market). At the same time, Graham provided much needed leadership, not just within in the HR function, but throughout the Company. I found his leadership and support vital to the success of my area and the Company in general. It was a pleasure to work with Graham. I believe Graham’s business acumen, depth of knowledge and his working style combine to allow him to succeed at any task or challenge that he faces. Any organisation requiring HR leadership or leadership in general would benefit greatly from Graham’s presence on the executive team.
Mark O'Hagan
Graham was a key member of the Admin Re HR team working on a senior interim basis. He has a wide talent base allowing him to support a range of projects. Graham has a very good eye for detail, is highly conscientious, never loses sight of the big picture and is adept at developing relationships. These were skills that made him particularly suited to leading the HR aspect of 4 x due diligence M&A projects including the £762M acquisition of Barclays Life.
John Branch
Graham is a highly effective senior HR generalist. His relationship skills, infectious enthusiasm and honesty gain respect and pull the team together. Graham has excellent process engineering skills and a keen eye for that one key detail that others may sometimes overlook. I strongly recommend him.
