Grahame was a vastly experienced IT Manager when Mencap were fortunate to secure his services, as part of the redesign of the overarching operational delivery model. It is not amiss to state that Grahame personal contribution in transforming the technical landscape to provide resilient 21st century IT services to our customers was revolutionary Grahame, just has this amazing ability to connect with people and the ability to inspire his team and to engage at a senior stakeholder level, to articulate exceptionally complex concepts to ensure that the wider business was aware of the benefits and risk profile and to ensure that highly complex migration activities and infrastructure upgrades were seamless to our clients. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Grahame and personally would jump at the opportunity to collaborate with Grahame on future Programmes as he is one of the most dedicated contentious IT professionals that I have had the pleasure to work with.

I haven't known Grahame for very long but I can honestly say, hand on heart, that he's one of the best people you could ever meet in the IT world. His vast technical knowledge, combined with his commercial know-how and understanding, is something to behold. Spending time with Grahame is always a pleasure. I could work with Grahame all day long! He's very approachable, likeable and has a truly great sense of humour. I worked with Grahame to assist him build knowledge of the EVault backup solution while he was running the IS department at Tate Galleries and new to the EVault product. During this time, I would always look forward to meetings and discussions with Grahame. His enthusiasm for what he does is contagious. His approach is very much "get the job done" and have some fun whilst doing it. He is not only an exceptional technical person, but a great strategist with an astute grasp of business. Grahame also has the rare ability to truly think outside of the box. I hope that our paths will cross again at some point in the future. If you're looking for one of the best people out there to manage and own the IT strategy within your organisation, then you don't need to look very far. Grahame is an ideal person to take on the mantle.

Key areas of my role are: Digital Technology - look at what Anthony Nolan has currently in place and devise new ways of working that are more aligned to modern technologies. Create an operational strategy for IT across the next 3 years. Change - Establish a new Change process within the business - based around ITIL to ensure more visibility, manageability and standardization across the entire business. Technical Lead / Project Management - Devising new strategic solutions and creating a plan to deploy and deliver to the business. Acting as the Technical Lead to successfully deliver solutions on time & on budget. My last few roles have entailed transformation - coming into a business and looking at new ways of working with modern /emerging technologies. From this an IT Road-map is devised and working with the Program team ensure we deliver in the best way for the business. Show less
