During my time with the Chiefs I was the assistant to the head equipment manager. I was responsible for aiding the coaching staff, as well as the equipment manager in anyway necessary to improve the game-day processes. My main responsibility was accommodating the away team in any way necessary upon arrival, as well as throughout the game series up until their departure. For two summers in High School I worked as a sales representative focused on selling nursery products. These ranged from small shrubs/bushes up to much larger trees, and even high end fountains along with other outdoor accessories. Although this may not have been the most conventional sales position I was still quite successful. I also learned the key skills necessary in assisting a customer to make an informed decision, while ultimately closing the sale. I also faced many situations including very difficult and unhappy customers. Because of this, I learned the invaluable lessons of how to take tough situations and deal with them minimizing damage to the business and it's reputation,as well as appeasing the customer to the highest level possible. I also focused on customer service and regularly answered the phone to assist customers with a wide variety of questions, and concerns. Show less
