Able to read structural drawing of the layouts of all internal partitions of the flats/houses/warehouses and erect metal stud partitions in accordance to the architect’s drawings. Completion of the works involves plaster boarding to partitions/sticking/scrim taping and insulation Suspended Ceilings Firebreak Ceiling – Application of timber frames residential/commercial buildings with occupied spaces above. Activities include: insulating ceilings, double boarding ceilings in fireline board and setting out with a self-levelling laser and fixing a metal MF grid system. Standard MF Grid Ceiling – This involves setting out with a self-levelling laser, drilling and fixing metal hangers to the concrete slab, attaching the main bar to the concrete hangers. Access Flooring Building & assembling an elevated structural floor above a solid substrate to create a hidden void for the passage of cables, wiring, and electrical supply. Activities include: Checking the room dimensions and configuration against the approved drawings, setting out pedestals and then raise/lower them to the correct laser line using a measurement staff.
