      •Working as a key member of a small, innovative Watercourses team within Environment and Operational division, which performs akin to an in-house consultancy on behalf of the Council.•Managing and coordinating jobs associated with watercourses in a variety of environments and settings. Managing all phases of project life-cycle including feasibility, consultation, formal planning, design, tendering, procurement, site management and supervision alongside contractors and managing project finances.•Working with key internal and external stakeholders to analyse flooding and drainage problems and move to resolutions which utilise Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Nature Based Solutions (NBS). Actively working alongside a range of stakeholders and disciplines including land agents, tenant farmers, lawyers, funders, charities and other delivery partners in order to achieve organisational corporate targets in this project.•Developing wider scale land management and environmental improvement proposals around Natural Flood Management including nature conservation, rewilding and key stone species introductions.•Leading a project partner in a 5 year Interreg project focused on social innovation around BGI and NBS, including exploring the business case around such schemes. The project includes cross organisation work between 10 North Sea region cities and research institutions (BEGIN), with exposure to a diversity of ideas and approaches.•Communicating and discussing benefits of projects to stakeholders.
