  I was a CAD technician for the Leeton Group, producing 2D technical and construction drawings and 3D visualisations for the industrial, electrical, and building services divisions of company. I produced a varied range of 2D drawings for the commericial and industrial sectors, from electrical wiring schematics and circuit diagrams, to mechanical pipework schematics and interior design layouts. I introduced the use of 3D renderings and visualisations which allows our clients to see what a design will look like before a project gets under way. Other aspects of my job included undertaking initial site surveys producing technical drawings for project managers and clients, and producing a detailed manual about the project, once it had been completed. I also oversaw the company website. I started to look after my own independant drawing projects, and deal directly with clients to produce any type of technical drawing that they require. The built an established client base, making regular use of the CAD services that we provided, which allowed for the expansion of the CAD department and turned into a profitable side of the business.
